My name is Petro, which is Greek for "rock". At the age of 23, this rock has been misplaced from its humble home in Connecticut and moved to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam, to live and work as a teacher of English for one year. As a rock, I remain strong in my values, with ties to my friends and family back home, though I also keep my head firmly in the clouds and open to new cultural experiences. Even a rock is not immune to being weathered over time by the sea of change.
